In 2001, our BBQ restaurant's owners signed up for a small BBQ competition. With a background in farming and pork production, this was a fun way for them to put their cooking skills to the test. Both of them enjoyed it so much that they focused on honing their skills and competing for over a decade.
Word about our award-winning BBQ spread like wildfire after we won the American Royal Invitational BBQ Contest in 2009. That's when we knew that using tasty BBQ to make people smile was our passion. In 2013, Plowboys BBQ was born in a 450-square foot shack, but we've come a long way since then.
